مينارة - بمناسبة "اليوم العالمي لمكافحة الأيدز" الموافق في 1 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر  2015، تدعو شبكة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا للحد من مخاطر إستخدام المخدرات "مينارة" الى الإلتزام بالشعار العالمي "علاج الايدز للجميع" عبر تمكين جميع الناس، بالأخص في منطقتنا، من الحصول على الخدمات والعلاج اللازم للأشخاص المتعايشين مع الفيروس. تتمة

MENAHRA - During the 24th International Harm Reduction Conference, organized by Harm Reduction International (HRI), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA) Communication Officer, Mr. Hasan Fakih interviewed the Executive Director of Harm Reduction International (HRI), Mr. Rick Lines, where he presented a summary of the conference, preparations for the United Nations General Assembly Special Session (UNGASS) on Drugs 2016, and the worldwide harm reduction situation. MENAHRA and WHO conducted a Technical Consultation on Engaging and Retaining People Who Inject Drugs in HIV Treatment and Care

MENAHRA - The Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA) in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted a “Technical Consultation on Engaging and Retaining People Who Inject Drugs (PWID) in HIV Treatment and Care”. The consultation was held from the 19th until the 21st of November, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon. Read More

 بيان بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لمستخدمي المخدرات الموافق في 1 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني 2015

وزارة الصحة المصرية: وفاة 1500 حالة بالإيدز فيمصر.. و71% من المصابين بالعدوى عن طريق الجنس

مصر - كشفت وزارة الصحة والسكان المصرية، أنه يتم اكتشاف 500 حالة مصابة بالإيدز سنويًا فى مصر، وأضافت فى تقرير لها، أن معدلات انتشار مرض الإيدز منخفضة جداً تصل لأقل من %0.02، مشيرة إلى أن التركيز الوبائي فى الفئات التي تستخدم المخدرات بالحقن والرجال ممارسي الجنس المثلي، وحسب التقرير توفى 1500 حالة فى مصر، من إجمالي 5864 حالة مصابة حتى 2014. تتمة

وزارة الصحة الإيرانية: 90 ألف إصابة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشري

إيران - أعلنت وزارة الصحة الإيرانية مؤخرا أن عدد الإصابات بفيروس نقص المناعة البشري السيدا في إيران في ازدياد مطرد وأصبح يشكل ظاهرة مقلقة، فقد تجاوز عدد المصابين 90 ألف شخص سنة 2015، بمعدل 900 إصابة كل 3 أشهر. تتمة

 

اليوم العالمي للايدز: العلاج للجميع و1893 مصابا في لبنان

لبنان - عقد البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة السيدا برعاية وزير الصحة العامة وائل أبو فاعور ممثلا بمستشاره الدكتور بهيج عربيد مؤتمرا صحافيا، لمناسبة اليوم العالمي للإيدز، تحت شعار "علاج الإيدز للجميع"، في قاعة محاضرات الإدارة المركزية للجامعة اللبنانية في المتحف، في حضور ممثلة منظمة الصحة العالمية رمزية صباح، ومدير البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة السيدا الدكتور مصطفى النقيب، وممثل الجمعيات الأهلية ماجد حماتو، وممثلين عن قوى الأمن الداخلي ومنظمات الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني وحشد من المهتمين. تتمة

The Global Fund - Gender inequalities continue to increase women’s and girls’ health risks. HIV is the leading cause of death of women of reproductive age in low- and middle-income countries. Accelerate expansion of antiretroviral therapy to all people living with HIV: WHO

On World AIDS Day WHO emphasizes that expanding antiretroviral therapy to all people living with HIV is key to ending the AIDS epidemic within a generation. “The Millennium Development Goal of reversing the HIV epidemic was reached ahead of the 2015 deadline - an incredible achievement that testifies to the power of national action and international solidarity," declared WHO Director-General, Margaret Chan.
