مبدأ العلاج لمستخدمي المخدّرات كبديل عن ملاحقتهم من القضاء |
تونس - خصصت رئاسة الجمهورية التونسية العفو الرئاسي لعيد الجمهورية التونسية للمحكوم عليهم بتهم مسك واستهلاك مواد مخدرة مدرجة بالجدول " ب " من جداول المواد السميّة. كما تولّت الحكومة التونسية من جهتها صياغة مشروع قانون جديد للمخدّرات اختارت أن يكون عنوانه "مشروع قانون يتعلق بالوقاية من المخدرات وعلاج مستهلكيها وزجر التعامل غير المشروع بها". ويعكس التوجهان المذكوران إعتراف السلطة السياسية التونسية بفشل المقاربة التي أرساها القانون عدد 52 لسنة 1992 المتعلق بالمخدرات. تتمة |

مطالبة أممية بتكاتف الجهود ضد التهاب الكبد الوبائي بين مستخدمي المخدّرات |
الجزيرة - طالب مسؤول أممي بضرورة تكاتف جهود الحكومات والمجتمع المدني من أجل منع انتشار مرض الكبد الوبائي وخاصة بين مستخدمي المخدرات والقابعين في السجون. وحذر المدير التنفيذي لمكتب الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة المخدرات والجريمة يوري فيدوتوف في بيان له من أن التهاب الكبد الوبائي مستمر في الانتشار ومسؤول عن وفاة ومعاناة الملايين في جميع أنحاء العالم، رغم أنه يمكن الوقاية منه وأن بعض أنواعه قابلة للشفاء. تتمة

Life-saving HIV treatment for adults and children arrives in Ukraine |
The Global Fund - This is the first shipment of life-saving ARV medications to arrive following the recent signing of a US$ 3.7 million agreement between UNICEF and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the emergency provision of HIV supplies for adults and children living in non-government-controlled areas in eastern Ukraine . UNAIDS - The Brazilian football star Ronaldo de Assis Moreira has reaffirmed his commitment to the AIDS response by strongly urging young people to get tested for HIV. He is lending his support to ProTest HIV, a UNAIDS-supported initiative that encourages HIV testing and linkage to necessary health-care services. Read More |
