General assembly invitation to convene a regular session and Election of New Board members
You may find below the CVs of the applicants for the new MENAHRA Board of Directors:
Based on the presidential decree No. 7491 issued on 6/02/2012 regarding the foundation of a foreign association under the name of
“شبكة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا للحدّ من مخاطر استخدام المخدرات” (Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association/MENAHRA),
Based on articles 2, 5 and 6 of the abovementioned association bylaw regarding: convening of the regular General Assembly and elections of new Board of Directors.
The President of the Board of Directors of “Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association”, Dr Fatima Asouab calls the general assembly to a regular session on Wednesday 23/11/2016 at 6:00 pm at Lancaster Plaza Hotel – Rawcheh, Lebanon for the following agenda:
1- Approving the last year’s final Balance and acquitting the current council.
2- Discussing and endorsing the association’s activities and ratifying the current year budget.
3- Electing New Board of Directors members
In the event where there is no quorum of the simple majority, another assembly will be held at 7:00 PM on same date which shall debate validly, the quorum in this case will be obtained with the attending members.
The ballot boxes will be open to the electoral process after the completion of the agenda until 8:00 O’clock in the evening.

Please note that the association is unable to cover the cost of travel, transfer and accommodation of the members. However, it will cover the meeting cost.
