لبنان - يهدف اليوم العالمي للتوعية من الجرعة الزائدة الواقع في 31 آب/ أغسطس من كلّ عام، إلى رفع مستوى الوعي حول الجرعات المفرطة والحدّ من وصمة العار الناجمة عن الوفاة المرتبطة بالمخدّرات. في هذا اليوم ترفع جمعية العناية الصحيّة الصوت عالياً لتقول “هيا ننهي الجرعة الزائدة”! تفادياً لوقوع مأساة الموت. تتمة

Overdose Day - International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is a global event held on August 31st each year and aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It also acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have met with death or permanent injury as a result of drug overdose. Read More

UNAIDS - The World Health Organization (WHO) and UNAIDS have released a joint statement on HIV testing services that reinforces two key principles that ensure a human rights-based and public health approach to HIV testing. Read More
The Star - Nearly 25 per cent of women reported a pregnancy after an HIV diagnosis, a study has found. In B.C., where the study was based, there has not been a single mother-to-child HIV transmission in more than 20 years. Read More
