مُنذ عام تقريباً، نُصّبت الفنّانة يسرا سفيرة النوايا الحسنة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة المشترك المعني بالايدز، ومُنذ عام تفرّغت السفيرة "يسرا" الى نشر الوعي على ثقافة الوقاية من هذا الفيروس، وبالتالي تشجيع من أصيبَ به على الكشف عنه تسهيلا لتلقي العلاج، وبدأت مشوارها الإنساني الذي سيشمل زيارة 21 دولة...

Support. Don't Punish Campaign – MENA Activities

In observation of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, on 26 June, the Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA) coordinated the Support! Don't Punish campaign throughout the MENA region. More than 100 countries took part in the campaign this year, 10 were from the region (Afghanistan, Bahrian, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and United Arab Emirates).

Position Statement: World Hepatitis Day - July 28, 2016

On World Hepatitis Day - July 28, 2016, the Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA) continues its mission to support and collaborate with partners, public health workers, and the community to raise awareness on Hepatitis B and C.

MENAHRA also supports the first-ever Global Health Sector Strategy on Viral Hepatitis 2016 – 2021 which was adopted by the World Health Assembly in in May 2016. The new strategy includes a 30% reduction in new cases of Hepatitis B and C, and a 10% reduction in mortality by 2020.
